Saying goodbye to long-serving employees is always a special moment, characterised by emotions, retrospection and anticipation. At a festive farewell in the cosy atmosphere of the “Lindenhof” in Fulda-Künzell, it was recently time to say “goodbye” to deserving JUMO employees who can now look forward to their well-earned retirement.
Bernhard Juchheim, shareholder of the JUMO Group, took the time to personally thank each individual. “It fills me with pride and gratitude that we have had such committed and loyal employees in our company. Thanks to you, JUMO has grown and developed,” he emphasised in his speech. Among other things, Juchheim recalled the glass-wound measuring resistors that JUMO first introduced to the market in 1965.
The connection that has developed over the years will continue to exist in the future: “Time and again I meet former employees in Fulda who tell me how wonderful their time at JUMO was. These encounters mean a lot to me. I had a lot of fun with you,” said Juchheim. JUMO Managing Director Dr. Steffen Hoßfeld and HR Manager Alexandra Dantmann also thanked all those present for their many years of service.
Numerous anecdotes were exchanged over a delicious lunch and there was a lot of laughter. The bond that has developed over the years was palpable. The group looked back on the past decades with a touch of melancholy, but also with great anticipation of what is to come.
